Deglet Nour is one of the most popular dates in Europe and North Africa. Its origin is Tunisia and the date's weight is 8-10g. The shape of the date is long and narrow with a light brown goldish color.  The texture can be soft or dry with a unique sweetness. The Deglet Nour is available all year round and can be stored for long shelf life at 1-2 degrees Celsius.

This variety also sells on its branches and is mainly used as a snack and as a great product for cooking .
